Eye Exam

At Glance, our comprehensive eye exams include:

• Visual Acuity Test: Assessing the clarity of your vision, are you at DVLA standard, can you read a numberplate at 20ft away, including when driving at night.
• Refraction Assessment: Determining whether you have a refractive error, a need for glasses or contact lens. For example, people over age 40 may have normal distance but struggle with near vision, a refraction test can determine the right power required for Distance, Intermediate or Reading.
• Ocular Health Evaluation: Using advanced digital Retinal imaging technology, we will photograph the back of your eye to examine the internal and external structures of your eyes, which can be helpful in monitoring changes over time as we will record and compare.
• Glaucoma Screening: Measuring intraocular pressure inside your eye, with a tonometer to assess your risk of developing glaucoma.
• Dry Eye Assessment: It is thought almost three quarters of a billion people worldwide suffer from Dry Eye Disorder but most cases remain undiagnosed. In our clinics, more than two-thirds of our customers have experienced symptoms of dry eye conditions that would benefit from treatment.
